Tis the Season

Tis the season for Christmas partys and festivities.  The next few weeks we are very busy with upcoming events.  I was having a hard time getting into the spirit of it, but last night we decorated the Christmas tree.  It is a pre-lit tree with retro-style lights, so much fun.



Earlier this week I took Emmalyn for a hair cut and then we went and seen Santa at the mall.  She did so good, such a different from last year.  Last year she just cried it was horrible, but this year, she was so excited and just couldn't stop talking. 


Then today we went to the children's Chrismas party put on by my office.  It was a play about Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and included a buffet lunch a visit from Santa.  It was a great day.



On the way home Emmalyn fell asleep and is now napping.  What a great day.

    I love your tree and the retro lights!! Looks so nice!

    Emmalyn is quite the beauty and growing way too fast!

    I have tried leaving comments on your blog before and was never able to so yay for it working this time!! :)

    Thanks Laura, we love the tree as well. We wrapped presents the other day and put a few under the tree. Now Emmalyn just wants to know when she can open them, too cut.
